I have work for some of the biggest names in accounting and tax industries including Arthur Anderson, H&R Block and TurboTax. I review about 2 to 3 thousand electronic tax returns per year instead of a traditional CPAs who reviews 2 to 3 hundred tax returns. If you ever wonder what is the difference between using TurboTax, H&R Block and a CPA service, ask me. Using TurboTax is like performing a surgery on yourself with a manual. Using H&R Block is like using an intern (with 3 months of experience) to perform your surgery. Using a CPA is like having an experienced (about 6 to 20 years of experience) doctor performing your surgery.
